As birth professionals we all encounter many situations where emotional support is needed. Most of the women we work with make big decisions, experience fear ,confusion, and go through physical challenges. In this three days online workshop you’ll encounter some of the useful practices from the Birth Oriented Therapy approach for facilitating a personal process around the time of pregnancy, birth, and motherhood.

Being present with whatever the situation withholds, in a productive way.
28/11/2013– Thursday 10:30am-2:00pm– “Processing birth stories using creative tools”- Experiencing the art of listening to and working with birth stories in a creative way.
5/12/2013– Thursday 10:30am-2:00pm– “Working with hyper activating situations”- Creating the right space for those stressful moments, which are an inherent part of the field of birth.
The three meetings on consecutive weeks will be passed live online to an intimate group, using a friendly classroom setting, which allows audio+ video connection between us all, files sharing and more. All it requires on your end is a web camera & a microphone, and you can join us from the comfort of your home anywhere in the world. After registration you will receive an invitation to join the online classroom on our beginning date.
This workshop is also introductory to the full training course designed for birth professionals & Therapists who work with women around the years of childbirths, who wish to practice Birth Oriented Therapy professionally. For workshop participants who wish to continue later on to the full training course, the cost of the workshop will be reduced from the training course fee. The introduction workshop is experiential & beneficial on it’s own.
Birth oriented therapy is a unique approach for facilitating a personal process, around the time of Pregnancy, Birth, and Early Motherhood.
